Sandy Melgar

Ep 44: A few days before Christmas in 2012, Jim & Sandy Melgar were celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary. However, by the end of the night, tragedy would strike and the next day family members would find Jim dead, brutally stabbed and beaten, while Sandy was found alive locked in a closet tied to a chair. Controversy would soon arise as investigators would question whether this tragedy was indeed a home invasion, or if there was a more sinister plot behind these events?

Hi I just listened to your episode on Sandy Melgar. I want to correct you on one thing, you kept saying stuff was upstairs and downstairs. The house only had one floor. And now onto something else about the case. In an interview the jury foreman said that they didn’t know it at the time but there’s a phrase, “No talkie, no walkie,” that he learned later supposedly. That means that at least for him he held Sandra not testifying against her.
